FESTA ITALIA

Each spring, the lively atmosphere of Festa Italia takes over McKee Farms Park, courtesy of the Italian Workmen’s Club. The festival kicks off on June 1st, starting a two day celebration, brimming with family-friendly activities like bocce tournaments, cooking demonstrations, Italian folk dancing, live music, and even a pasta eating contest! Kids can enjoy toss games, prizes, face painting, magic shows, and balloon sculptures while adults can groove to the tunes of top-notch bands scheduled for each day.

McKee Farms Park provides an ideal setting, offering ample free parking, the Fitchburg Splash Pad, and Kids’ Crossing Dream Playground within its bounds. Make a pit stop during your weekend bike ride, as the park is conveniently accessible via the Capital City Bike Trail. KELLYMOSS COMMUNITY CAR SHOW

The second annual Kellymoss Car Show is set for Saturday, June 29 at the Agora Fitchburg. Hosted by Kellymoss, Fitchburg's own championship Porsche race team, and custom build shop, this year's event will feature an expanded field of cars from classic to sports, and an active Kellymoss Porsche race car. Enjoy a kids area with activities for the whole family, complimentary coffee and donuts, additional food truck options for purchase, photo opportunities, scheduled Kellymoss shop tours, a pro race car driver appearance and more, all in the beautiful setting of the Agora Pavilion and surrounding landscape.

MIDWEST GYPSY SWING FEST

The Midwest Gypsy Swing Fest brings the passion and joy found in European Gypsy Music Festivals right here to Fitchburg, Wisconsin. This two-day event in September is the ultimate acoustic, gypsy jazz music festival, attracting music enthusiasts from around the globe who share a passion for this vibrant and romantic genre. Past lineups have featured renowned acts like the Robin Nolan Trio, Harmonious Wail, Alfonso Ponticelli Trio, among others!

Set in a tranquil rural setting and populated by resident horses and cats, attendees can relax in the countryside while enjoying the talent of local and international musicians. BIKE FITCHBURG’S ¡PICK ME UP AT THE BORDER! BIKE RIDE

Participate in the yearly Pick Me Up At The Border bike ride—an excellent chance to clock in some miles before the chilly weather sets in and explore the scenic Badger State Trail. Cyclists of all skill levels are invited to be part of this ride and can opt for a route that suits their preferred mileage. The longest journey, covering 78.2 miles to the Illinois border and back, meanders through picturesque farmlands, woods, and rolling hills, offering stunning views.
