On Friday March 24, Delta Beer Lab is partnering with GSAFE to celebrate “Hockey is for Everyone” (Pride Night) at Bob Suter’s Capital Ice Arena in Middleton, WI.
GSAFE will be running a 50/50 raffle to raise money for their programs which support LGBTQ youth in Wisconsin. Their mission is to create just schools for LGBTQ+ youth in Wisconsin by:
- Developing the leadership of LGBTQ+ youth,
- Supporting Gay-Straight Alliances,
- Training educators,
- Advancing educational justice, and
- Deepening racial, gender, trans, and social justice.
In addition to the raffle, the event coincides with Madison Capitol’s annual Dollar Beer Night where fans can enjoy a variety of beers for only $1 including Delta Beer Lab Amber Ale and Golden Ale. Folx from Delta Beer Lab will also be on hand pouring samples of a variety of their products for guests before the game.
Delta Beer Lab is a Madison-based microbrewery which strives to expand community through quality, local craft beer without barriers to gender, race, or sexual orientation.
“We welcome everyone to join us to celebrate pride and raise funds for a great local organization that is supporting our LGBTQ youth,” said brewery owner Michelle Riehn who folx will see riding the zamboni between the first and second periods.
