Locals know that summer in Fitchburg means fantastic outdoor events! Concerts in the parks, bike racing, family-friendly festivals and one famous art fair are all on the calendar for 2022. Be sure to save the dates for these “can’t-miss” events coming up:
June 20th, July 18th, August 15th – Concerts At McKee:
Catch the best show in town the third Monday of June, July and August this summer! Bring a picnic and a bottle of wine or have dinner and drinks at one of our many food carts and brew carts available to serve you at the concert. Food and drink carts open at 6pm along with Madison Music Foundry youth bands and headliners begin at 7pm.

McKee Farms Park is also home to the free Fitchburg Splash Pad and Kids’ Crossing Dream Park so, the kids can enjoy those attractions, or they can dance and sing along with the bands. The whole family can enjoy this party in the park! McKee Farms Park is easily accessible by car and bike, it’s just off the Capital City Trail. Ample free parking is available.
July 9th: Fitchburg Festival of Speed
The Fitchburg Festival of Speed is an all-day festival taking place July 9, 2022 at the beautiful Agora complex in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. This event should top your list of "Can't-Miss" summer activities, whether you join as a spectator or participant.
Spectating is FREE and open to the public! Live music begins at 2:00pm:

Wednesdays, July 27th-August 10th: Jazz At Five
Jazz at Five, a summer staple of the Madison music scene, is coming back to McKee Farms Park for the first half of their 2022 season! See some of the regions best jazz performers for free Wednesday nights from July 27th-August 10th. Performances begin with a youth group at 4:30pm followed by headliners at 5:00pm and 6:45pm. August 20th - The Agora Art Fair
Over 100 Wisconsin artists will be showcased in the Fitchburg Agora Art Fair set amid the stunning architecture of Agora and the natural prairie landscape of southern Wisconsin. This event feature local and regional artists from every medium including painting, ceramics, jewelry, photography, glass, metals, woodwork, mixed media, fiber and sculpture.
