KSW Construction Corporation is proud to announce and welcome Joe Herr as a Project Manager. Mr. Herr will be responsible for management of KSW’s Commercial Clients construction projects while also assisting in the procurement of new clients, budgeting, forecasting and partner relationships all while managing the day-to-day ongoings of projects he oversees. Vice President Doug Slaby mentioned “Mr. Herr’s, experience, over 30 years, both locally and nationally is a huge “get” for our team. We are beyond lucky to have had him choose KSW to continue his construction career and could not be more excited to add him to our growing team!”
Mr. Herr joins the KSW team after spending the past 3 years at Brunsell Lumber, in Madison. Prior to that, for nearly 32 years, he was with another area commercial general contractor, Joe worked his way up to Project Manager, for 25 years, after beginning his career in construction as an apprentice. Mr. Herr is going to head up KSW’s growing Insurance Restoration division, while also focusing on Retail and Tenant Improvements. His biggest passion in life is Logan’s Heart’s and Smile’s, a 501c3 Non-Profit organization he founded after his son, Logan born with Cerebral Palsy passed at age four with complications from pneumonia.
Each March you will find Joe running around with his pointy ears, red hair & green suit as “Madison’s Leprechaun” Leading Madison’s St. Patrick’s Day parade & spreading cheer at local hospitals-schools & nursing homes.
Joe enjoys biking, kayaking & Wisconsin’s great outdoors. Loves cheering on his Badgers & Packers. Joe lives in Verona with his wife Lauren & son Brian.
