Fitchburg Chamber Member Benefits
The Fitchburg Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit business organization dedicated to uniting and engaging its members to ensure the ongoing prosperity of our community as a whole. Below are just some of the many benefits our members receive.
All members that pay their membership dues are listed in the directory portion under the appropriate industry category of the Fitchburg Business and Community Guide. 15,000 copies are distributed locally and regionally. Electronic versions are also available on several websites and by request.
Our monthly networking breakfast series. Free for members! Join fellow Chamber Members on the First Tuesday of each month at 8a.m. at the Candlewood Suites for networking, breakfast, & featured speakers.

A nationwide study by the Schapiro Group titled "The Real Value of Joining Your Local Chamber of Commerce" found that businesses that are chamber members are more repuatable, customer friendly and a better coice compared to non-members.
“Business Before 9,” “Business After 5”, Annual Meeting, Golf Outing, & luncheons are examples of events you can attend. We also partner up with area organizations to give our members additional opportunities. Attend these events and people will get to know you as a client, customer, and a person to do business with!

The Fitchburg Chamber has partnered with the Verona Chamber, Sun Prairie Chamber, and Middleton Chamber for a CEO Roundtable program. The CEO Roundtable is designed to give top-level executives of local firms a way to share best practices and collaborate with their peers about the unique issues they face.
Chamber Checks is similar to a gift certificate program, but instead of using gift certificates we use actual checks. Chamber Checks can be purchased at the Chamber Office; once someone receives it, they spend it at participating member businesses & use it as they would a personal check. Businesses accept these & deposit these just like a personal check.
Your company can help create meaningful events and receive recognition by helping sponsor chamber programs.
Our website is a powerful tool! Members are listed online in the business directory, and they can post their “Hot Deals,” upload press releases, and post job openings. The Chamber websites receives over 2,000 hits per month and the most frequented page is the “FIND A BUSINESS” page. All of this is FREE for members! Advertising opportunities are for members only! Advertise on the Fitchburg Map, in the Business & Community Guide, & e-newsletter.
The Annual Fitchburg Chamber Business Expo attracts over 300 attendees. Exhibit here and get noticed, and build professional relationships. Or attend & visit all the booths!
Chamber staff receives thousands of calls annually about Fitchburg. Staff shares information on the community and referrs business to Chamber Members only. Businesses also have special deals/discounts for fellow Chamber Members.
A collective voice enables your business to make a greater impact on goverment issues affecting businesses. The Chamber monitors legislative issues both locally & regionally, and when appropriate works for the business community on issues that impact their success.
Chamber Care Health Insurance is available to Chamber Members only. Members can work with WPS & GHC on providing health care plans for their business. Member and business mailing lists/labels are free for members. The Chamber also partners up with the police department on “Business Watch.” Join the list serve and help keep our community safe.
We want visitors to stay and play in Fitchburg. The Chamber helps promote our community and our businesses to visitors by providing marekting materials, answering calls and directing leads to our members. We also support community events that help build our visibility in the region.
